Our Neighbors’ Table (ONT) is committed to creating regional food security and universal food access across the region. ONT accomplishes this by working directly with households to build individual food security while building the capacity, collaboration and infrastructure to strengthen the region’s food safety net through the Lower Merrimack Valley Food Coalition. All proceeds from the Bounce for Bread fundraiser directly support Our Neighbors’ Table.
WHY BREAD?
Because while this event is designed to be joyful, the reason behind it is incredibly important.
Food insecurity exists right here in our own communities, and Our Neighbors’ Table works every day to make sure our neighbors have access to the food they need.
Our goal with Bounce for Bread is to turn something we LOVE — movement + community — into something that can make a meaningful difference. Imagine what can happen when 55 teams + hundreds of people from across our community all show up for one reason:
To move together. Give together. + take care of our neighbors together.
Just like a walk-a-thon or run-a-thon, the movement is only part of the challenge. Each Bounce Team is challenged to raise $1,000 in donations to support Our Neighbors’ Table. Donations can come from the people bouncing OR from friends, family, coworkers, clients + community members who want to sponsor your Bounce Team.
55 teams × $1,000 = the potential to raise $55,000 for our neighbors.
That’s a LOT of impact from a little bouncing.
