CLICK THE BUTTON BELOW to donate to a specific team or person bouncing (including yourself), or to make a general donation to this fundraiser. Donations can be made by those bouncing at the event, or by friends & family who want to sponsor your Bounce Team. When you donate, select “join a team”, then search for the team name or person’s name that you want to support if you want your donation applied to that team. Joining a team does NOT mean that you have to bounce, it just means that you are a supporter for that team.
CLICK THE BUTTON BELOW to sign up to bounce on a rebounder during the bounce-a-thon. You can join an existing bounce team or create a new team. The person who creates the Team online is automatically assigned as the Team Captain. Once you’ve signed up, share your team fundraising link with friends & family to encourage them to donate to sponsor your team!
If you are bouncing, CLICK THE BUTTON BELOW to complete Motivate.®’s required participation waiver and join the roster:
Teams are encouraged to pick a team name and show your team spirit with themed attire, cheers, and signature moves! Teams of Bouncers can be made of up as many people as you’d like. It’s totally ok if you have never bounced before!!
Each team chooses its Bouncer rotation strategy on the rebounder (rotating bouncers every 15 minutes, one person per hour, swap bouncers every song – you do you). The only rule: your team’s rebounder must have a Bouncer on it for the full 5 hours.
What is Bounce? Bounce is where a party meets a workout in a low-impact, beat-driven, cardio-blast of a workout on a mini-trampoline (called a rebounder). This bounce-a-thon will be inspired by the fun, bounce-able music playing all day, for a studio that is filled with movement, purpose, laughter, sweat, and community.
Benefits of bouncing, per Arthritis Foundation:
- Stronger bones.
- Strong muscles.
- Better balance.
- Pelvic floor health.
- Weight loss.
- Stress relief.
- Easy on joints.
Clean indoor shoes or bare feet are welcome. Wear a sports bra that is up to the task. Bring water (refill station here) and a towel if you tend to perspire!
